Prevarications & Exaggerations is an Unblog that will primarily focus on writing, media, cheesy music and whatever strikes The Main Prevaricator on that given day.

If you take away nothing else from Prevarications, remember one thing: Life is a tapestry of lies.

As the poet W.H. Auden put it: “What makes it difficult for a poet not to tell lies is that, in poetry, all facts and all beliefs cease to be true or false and become interesting possibilities.” (Thank you, Kenneth, for sharing this quote with me.) And the same holds true for fictioneers.

We all lie. Even you.

Try to make your lies interesting ones.
